CAMHS Professionals invites applications from experienced professionals for the position of Child Development Professional in London.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team at our 'Outstanding' SEN school, where you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for children and young people with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Developmental Trauma, and SEMH. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside clinicians and hold responsibility for caseloads at the school.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree and registration with the HCPC and RCSLT are necessary.
  • Prior experience working in a trauma or complex needs setting is essential, as well as strong report writing skills.
  • A valid full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.
  • Experience within the specialist client group, including autism, language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour, is highly desirable.
  • Newly qualified candidates are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure pupils' needs are met.
  • Assess pupils, record, and review their progress.
  • Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans.
  • Keep parents informed of pupils' development and any changes.
  • Maintain a supportive environment that encourages growth and development in our students.
