Job Summary
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an Outreach Practitioner. In this role, you will work with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health difficulties, providing a non-judgmental and recovery-based approach that values their strengths and choices.
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals, providing excellent quality of care, and developing and delivering interventions to support their recovery. You will work closely with our clinical team, counsellors, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive service.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges affecting individuals with substance use and related health and wellbeing issues. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing a varied caseload and adapting to changing circumstances.
The Service
Our Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire are committed to providing a high-quality service that supports individuals in their recovery journey. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our service users.
Location
This is a county-wide role, with your base predominantly at the Rikanel Centre in Gloucester. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and contribute to the development of our services.
