We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a young boy with an EHCP at Teach Plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1-to-1 support to enhance focus and guide learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to help the student concentrate, break down tasks, and encourage completion at his own pace.
  • Build a strong, trusting relationship to make the child feel safe, understood, and motivated to learn.
  • Liaise with teachers, SEND coordinators, and other support staff to create a cohesive support network.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting children with trauma, mental health needs, or similar challenges. Knowledge of strategies to manage and support emotional regulation in young students is also essential.

This role requires a male education professional who can bring stability, encouragement, and understanding to the student. An enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
