Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in Ipswich. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with the work set by their regular teachers, and creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences
  • Ensure students remain focused on assigned tasks
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a productive learning environment
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed
  • Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
