About the Role:The successful candidate will support our Commercial Finance leadership team across two key areas: Commercial Finance and Business Partnerships. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing commercial analysis and challenge to all areas of the business, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out thorough reasonableness checks on information provided by the business, performing detailed analysis to ensure credible assumptions, questioning inputs where required, and evaluating risks and opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to complete accurate and timely analysis and reporting on projects and initiatives.
- Communicating complex financial modelling and analysis to a range of stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Producing monthly and ad-hoc reporting and tracking performance trends as required.
- Assisting in the resolution of business queries with core Finance in relation to month-end variances.
- Supporting cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Newly qualified or actively studying for an accounting qualification.
- Experience working with or supporting cross-functional / non-finance teams with commercial analysis.
- Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to adapt to change.
At Sykes Holiday Cottages, we offer a competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including:
- Paying a salary up to £50,000 per annum.
- Plus access to our annual STIP (annual company-wide bonus) scheme with up to an additional 10% of your salary.
