About the Role
Mitie is seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake all necessary training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality cleaning services.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
- Adhere to all Mitie quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain the designated area to a high standard of cleanliness, carrying out daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
- Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
- Always maintain security, locking doors, and following lost property procedures.
- Have a full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
- Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance.
- Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Cleaning experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
- Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
- Be open and honest.
- Be self-driven and determined.
- Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
