Key Responsibilities:- Lead by Example: As a Head Barista, you'll set the standard for quality, efficiency, and customer service. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of coffee quality, ensuring that every drink that leaves the bar meets our exceptional standards.
- Team Management: You'll lead and develop a team of skilled baristas, providing coaching, training, and feedback to help them grow and succeed. You'll identify talent, develop training plans, and create a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Coffee Knowledge: You'll have a deep understanding of our coffee offerings, including our menu, ingredients, and brewing methods. You'll be able to communicate this knowledge to your team and customers, ensuring that everyone has a great coffee experience.
- Customer Experience: As a Head Barista, you'll be the face of WatchHouse, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. You'll create a welcoming atmosphere, engage with customers, and build strong relationships with our regulars.
- Stock Control and Ordering: You'll be responsible for managing our coffee and supplies, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at all times. You'll work closely with our suppliers to negotiate prices, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
- Maintenance and HACCP: You'll ensure that our equipment is well-maintained, clean, and in good working order. You'll also be responsible for maintaining our HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures, ensuring that we meet all food safety and health regulations.
