Head Barista Leader

Grind & Co is a hospitality company that prides itself on delivering exceptional coffee experiences in London. As a Head Barista, you will be responsible for leading a small team to ensure that our coffee standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and train a team of baristas to deliver high-quality coffee and excellent customer service.
- Oversee the daily operations of the coffee section, including opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve coffee quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Pour advanced latte art and maintain a clean and organized coffee section.
- Handle customer complaints and provide solutions-driven approaches to resolve issues.
- Manage stock levels, including coffee, milk, and tea, and communicate with the manager on site about any shortages.
- Conduct weekly stock takes and complete cost sheets.
- Understand coffee-based profit and loss statements, including sales figures and coffee margins.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional barista skills and knowledge of coffee equipment.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Friendly and approachable attitude.
