Overview

The Londoner is seeking a skilled Commis Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Whitcomb's, our 5-star luxury restaurant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Responsibilities
  • Support the waiter/ess in serving tables and meeting guests' needs
  • Have a good knowledge of the menu and be able to answer questions about it
  • Ensure food is delivered promptly and presented in an elegant manner
  • Clear tables quickly to allow for the next course to be served
  • Ensure the diner's table is well-presented at all times
  • Be competent with IT applications such as Open table, Adecco, and Micros
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Commis Waiter/Waitress, ideally in a busy quality-driven restaurant
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Impeccable command of English, both written and spoken
  • Passion for food and beverage and keeping up to date with the latest food trends
