About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Parameta Solutions. As a key member of our Axiom C++ team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our in-house software solutions.

Our team is responsible for creating and implementing software that is pivotal to pricing, publishing, executing orders, and trades. With a large code base consisting mainly of C++ and C#, we are continually modernizing our existing code base, creating libraries, and microservices.

As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will follow agile sprint methodologies, effectively analyzing and enriching tasks, and delivering them in a timely manner to a professional standard. You will work closely with your manager to set performance goals and have regular catch-ups, usually on a fortnightly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements to ensure they are clear for all involved
  • Estimate and plan work tasks effectively
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software following the coding standard set up by the team
  • Provide support to end users on a rotational basis
  • Communicate effectively with your team and other teams in the company, including other regions
  • Communicate effectively with end users to assess issues and identify new requirements
  • Complete mandatory training from time to time to ensure you are adhering to company guidelines
Requirements
  • A good understanding of popular programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, and Python
  • A familiarity working with software IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new practices as set out by the development team
