About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Nurse to join our Looked After Children's Team in the Monmouthshire area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community nursing and experience working with children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess the health needs of Looked After Children and develop effective care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the health and wellbeing of Looked After Children.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to foster carers and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Registered experience nurse (working at band 6)
  • Sufficient community experience working with children and young people
  • Multi-agency working
  • Experience of working with foster carers and LAC/YP
