About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Engineer to join our team at Talent. As a key member of our Digital, Data, and Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in building, developing, and supporting our mobile devices and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding Our Network: Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of our operational network and communications infrastructure.
  • Managing Airwave Infrastructure: Oversee end-user Airwave devices, Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS), fleet mapping, and coverage.
  • Enhancing Data Networks: Work with Local Area Networking, Wide Area Networking, and Wireless Networking to keep our data flowing smoothly.
  • Supporting Voice and Video Technology: Maintain our Voice Over IP (VOIP) and Video Conferencing systems.
  • Securing Connectivity: Manage our firewall and gateway infrastructure to ensure secure internet and network connections.
  • Transitioning New Technology: Help transition new or updated infrastructure from development to live environments.
  • Providing Expert Knowledge: Offer your expertise to various projects and change initiatives.
Requirements
  • Ability to Manage Workloads: Ability to manage workloads and set priorities.
  • Providing Guidance: Providing guidance, setting standards, managing escalations & reporting.
  • Leading Project Delivery: Leading project delivery, adhering to standards and BAU responsibilities.
  • Voice & Network Configuration: Voice & network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Networking & Firewall Technologies: Thorough understanding of networking/firewall technologies, principles and topologies.
  • ITIL Processes: Experience and knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Platform Compliance & Security: Knowledge of platform compliance and security.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Ability to liaise with stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • 3rd Line SIP/Voice/Radio Engineering: Significant experience of working in a 3rd line SIP/voice/radio engineering role.
Qualifications
  • Postgraduate Degree: Postgraduate IT/Communication systems degree or equivalent.
  • Voice/Communications Related Qualification: Voice/communications related industry qualification, such as SIP telephony, ICCS support and Radio system support.
