Senior Acute Care Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Acute Care Specialist Nurse to join our team at Langworth Ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the care of patients with severe BPSD and mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services that work within the policies, protocols, and clinical procedures of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust.
- Work as part of an MDT team providing a user-focused, accessible, and responsive acute nursing service that is safe, supportive, and competent for people who experience acute mental health problems and BPSD.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for those who are experiencing BPSD and mental health needs, within agreed limitations.
- Provide management supervision to junior staff.
- Take on a Champion role of a special interest of yours, such as physical health, wound care, therapeutic interventions, safeguarding, care planning, and lead on improvements on the ward.
