Clinical / Counselling Psychologist / Senior CBT Therapist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Senior CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- To assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions, developing treatment plans and implementing interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
- To work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care, ensuring seamless transitions between services.
- To supervise junior staff members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- A Doctorate-level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist.
- Significant post-qualification experience of working in community mental health settings, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Evidence of working with clients with complex and co-morbid mental health problems, demonstrating expertise in managing challenging situations.
- Experience of service evaluation and audit, with a focus on quality improvement and service enhancement.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience of supervising clinical staff and leading projects to achieve desired outcomes.
- Evidence of working effectively with GP referrers and other stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
The salary for this role is £60,000 per annum, plus additional benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
