Job Description
  • Role Overview:
  • The Treasurer will oversee the financial health of the charity, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and championing financial best practice within the Trust Board.
  • Responsibilities include managing charitable funds, overseeing audits, reviewing finances, and serving on the Finance Sub-Committee.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Management: Authorise bank payments, develop and manage the annual budget, and monitor income streams.
  2. Financial Reporting: Present regular financial reports for Trustee meetings every 2-months, clearly outlining the financial position of the Charity.
  3. Financial Planning: Develop long-term financial strategies with the CEO and Finance Sub-Committee to ensure sustainability.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Experience in financial management, bookkeeping, or accounting, preferably in the charity sector.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders.
Location and Salary

This part-time position is based in Bristol, with an estimated salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
