This role will play a crucial part in our Onshore Engineering Team, working on various tasks including management and production of internal wind resource and energy production reports, wind farm turbine layout and energy optimization, design of site-specific measurement campaigns for wind sites, including cost/benefit assessments of different technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver all technical aspects of projects, including layout definition, yield assessment, technology selection, engineering design, and coordination with other departments;
  • Manage external consultants and coordinate their work;
  • Perform site visits to assess conditions;
  • Review third-party energy production and site conditions reports;
  • Review Site Acceptance Reports from wind OEMs or 3rd parties;
  • Assist procurement, PM, and BD managers with AEP generation;
  • Other tasks defined by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in development, design, and construction phases of wind farms;
  • Ability to work in an international team;
  • Pragmatic and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with GIS (e.g., QGIS) and wind modeling tools (WAsP, WindPro, etc.);
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical);
  • Full clean driving license.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
