We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team, working with us to increase patient choice and provide better access to exceptional, timely, locally-based ophthalmology care.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of this position include focusing on patient centric care, participating in entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management. You will be responsible for undertaking preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior ophthalmic theatre experience is required.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration / ODP with valid HCPC Registration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
