In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of patient care within our organisation. As a theatre practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centric care, ensuring seamless transitions between pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management. Your commitment to clinical excellence will be invaluable in upholding the highest standards of care.
Main Accountabilities- Delivering high-quality patient care that aligns with our organisational values.
- Conducting thorough preoperative assessments, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub duties in accordance with AfPP guidelines.
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional, timely, and locally-based ophthalmology care free at the point of care. Our unique hub-and-spoke model enables us to collaborate closely with NHS colleagues and provide patients with optimal access to vital procedures.
Compensation PackageThe estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000, contingent upon experience.
Essential Qualifications- Previous experience in ophthalmic theatre settings.
- Relevant professional development and certifications, such as RN with NMC Registration or ODP with HCPC Registration.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
