Sales Negotiator: Fuelcard Business Growth

Position Location: Watson Fuels
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Fuelcard Sales Negotiator. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new fuel card business accounts and maintaining existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Sell fuel card services to generate new and repeat business, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Negotiate costs with customers independently or under the direction of the Sales Manager.
- Expand and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring a dedicated point of contact.
- Monitor customer drawing habits and margin, ensuring maximum potential utilization.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and accounts are profitable.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving queries and exhibiting the highest standards of professionalism.
- Maintain product and system expertise, including knowledge of procedures, services, and systems.
- Embody a health and safety-focused culture.
Person Specification:
- Proven sales and account management experience.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience in building relationships to secure repeat business.
- Ability to work using initiative and build professional relationships with customers.
- Capacity to drive business forward.
