Leading Residential Childcare Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner to lead our childcare team in Castleford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of therapeutic parenting principles and be able to create a safe and nurturing environment for children. They will also be responsible for supporting young people through daily routines, maintaining a safe and clean home environment, and ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimated Salary: from 34,812.30 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Job Type: Full Time

Team Leadership:

  1. Lead a team to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  1. Working towards or completed Level 4 Diploma in Children's and Young People workforce.
  2. 2 years' experience working with children in a residential setting.
  3. Valid driver's license preferable.
