A Maintenance Technologist (Electrical Engineering) is sought by our global plastics manufacturing client to join their engineering team in Tamworth. The successful candidate will provide planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines, IML robots, pick and place robots, and daily maintenance on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, and inverters.

Job Summary:

This exciting opportunity involves working on rotational shifts, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  2. Identify and rectify faults promptly, minimising downtime.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers to achieve optimal machine performance.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a valid NVQ L3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, along with 3-5 years' experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machinery.
