About the Role

ThinkWorkforce is seeking an experienced Dermatology Consultant to join our team in a leading and innovative community healthcare services provider. This organisation provides seamless Dermatology services to patients referred from GP practices and NHS Trusts, ensuring excellence in both primary and secondary care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to adult patients attending the community Dermatology service, handling both initial consultations and follow-ups.
  • Offer specialist advice on medications, therapies, and interventions to alleviate symptoms and promote long-term recovery.
  • Educate patients and families on skin health, preventative care, and lifestyle adjustments that promote optimal outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs and minor surgery clinicians, to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Actively engage in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
  • Medical Degree: MBBS/MBChB (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Dermatology Specialisation: CCT or equivalent qualification in Dermatology.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up with advancements in Dermatology.
  • Training Compliance: Fully compliant with all mandatory training.
