Department: Community Ear Nose & Throat
Location: Swindon
Days Available: Monday to Friday
Hours: 09:00 - 18:00 (or similar)
Rate: £100 per hour
Job Overview:
Our client, a market-leading and forward-thinking community healthcare services provider, is seeking an experienced ENT GPwSI/GPwER to join their team in Swindon. This provider is dedicated to supporting both primary and secondary care services, ensuring the seamless delivery of Dermatology, ENT, and Audiology services to patients referred from GP services and NHS Trusts.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community Ear Nose and Throat service, including the treatment of epistaxis, balance assessment, clearance of the external auditory canal, and performing nasopharyngoscopy and laryngoscopy for both new and follow-up patients.
Patient Management: Consult, diagnose, and treat patients effectively, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a cohesive team, supporting the administration team to deliver a safe and efficient clinical service.
Audit Participation: Participate in clinical audits to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
Meeting Attendance: Regularly attend and actively contribute to team meetings and other relevant discussions, participating in shared decision-making processes.Requirements (Medical and Nursing):
Medical Degree and Registration: Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) with registration from the General Medical Council (GMC).
ENT Diploma: Relevant qualifications in ENT.
Mandatory Training: Current with all mandatory training.
Knowledge: Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of ENT conditions and current evidence-based practice guidelines in ENT
