About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior SEN Functional Skills Educator to join our team at Winner Recruitment. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering the English, Maths, Science, and ICT Functional Skills curriculum in a supportive SEN environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging small group sessions or 1:1 teaching to cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative learning experiences that promote student success.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring students feel valued and supported.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of experience in delivering Functional Skills within an SEN environment.
  • The ability to think creatively and develop effective teaching methods that inspire learners.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols, risk management, and safeguarding practices.
  • A flexible and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviors.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between sites.
