About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate GCSE Science Tutor to join our team of professional educators. As a GCSE Science Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Engaging Lesson Plans: Develop and deliver tuition that is designed to inspire and teach GCSE Science students.
  • Monitor Progress and Provide Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Guardians/Teachers: Work closely with students' guardians and teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Utilize our virtual learning platform to maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months teaching/tutoring experience within the UK.
  • Location: Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • DBS Check: Must be willing to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Safeguarding: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • SEN Experience: Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex needs.
