Site Services Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Services Officer to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our site activities, with a focus on the effluent treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain effluent treatment plant equipment, including daily checks, equipment inspection, cleaning, sampling, and testing
  • Monitor and control plant processes to ensure efficient operation
  • Perform routine/ planned inspections and maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
  • Control of waste handling and disposal
  • Basic fault finding, whilst recognising and escalating more serious faults
  • Monitoring plant parameters against set standards, adjusting plant to meet these whilst reporting any deviation via pre-agreed escalation procedure
  • Ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Moving of chemical IBC's, controlling usage and restocking
  • Report and liaise with engineers when required
  • Daily housekeeping and upkeep of plant
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with effluent treatment plants
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Working Hours:

Wednesday to Friday - 8 hours a day

Saturday - 9 hours a day
