Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out maintenance tasks and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including bespoke machinery
  2. Work to set schedules for maintenance work orders, ensuring regular maintenance of parts reduces failure and prevents large-scale issues or stoppages
  3. Build and develop new maintenance schedules, working alongside technicians and production operatives to ensure productive workflows
  4. Report all failures to the Engineering Manager
  5. Manufacture parts using machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and more
  6. Assist with installations of new tools/machines when required
  7. Provide general maintenance within the site
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Fundamental understanding of industrial electrical circuits
  • Exposure to working with machines such as lathes and mills
  • Rudimentary understanding of electronic engineering
  • Full UK driving license
