Maintenance Engineer/Site Manager

M4 Recruitment - Reading Division is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Site Manager to join a well-established family-run engineering business in Cirencester. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing conveyor systems, managing project delivery, and undertaking maintenance work on existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of conveyor systems, working closely with the project team to create innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Assist in the successful delivery of conveyor system projects, from conception to completion, collaborating with project managers and teams to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Undertake reactive breakdown and planned maintenance work on existing conveyor systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Day-to-day activities on site, including fabrication, assembly, forklift operating, loading transport, stock checking, and tool maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, and AUTO CAD.
  • Strong organisational skills and great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience as a Conveyor Engineer with strong knowledge of conveyor system components and mechanics.
  • Ability to conduct reactive breakdown and planned maintenance efficiently.
