About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Regional Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Regional Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred care, monitoring the delivery of care when on duty and contributing to care planning processes for each resident. You will also record important observations, such as temperature and blood pressure readings. This is a varied role that requires you to provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, fostering meaningful relationships with them.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in elderly care, preferably with a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care. A good understanding of the wider healthcare industry is also essential. We value individuals who are passionate about people and dedicated to supporting their wellbeing. As you will be travelling across the area, you must either have your own car or ready access to one. We offer competitive mileage reimbursement for journeys over five miles from your main home.
As a Regional Care Assistant, you can expect a rewarding salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus our sector-leading benefits and rewards package. Enjoy free training and development opportunities, access to wellbeing and support tools, and discounts on retail purchases. Our 'Refer a Friend' scheme offers unlimited referrals with bonus rewards, while our 'Employee of the Month' and 'Long Service Awards' programs acknowledge outstanding contributions. Join us in providing exceptional care to those who need it most.
