Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team at our Newport store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and supportive store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including stationery and gadgets
- Contribute to a positive and supportive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns
Requirements
- Good availability to work across peak trade periods, including summer and Christmas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling customer transactions
