Chef de Partie - Italian Cuisine Expertise

Bocconcino, a renowned Italian restaurant brand, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. With locations in Mayfair and Soho, we offer an elegant yet fun dining experience, serving authentic Italian cuisine, including handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and wood-fired pizzas.

We are expanding our culinary footprint in London with the opening of our new Osteria Del Mare restaurant in Covent Garden. As a result, we need a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to work in our pasta, main, or grill sections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in the assigned section, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Manage stock levels, maintaining freshness and availability of ingredients.
  • Adhere to kitchen safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff within the section.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen stations to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant.
  • Expertise in cooking pasta, mains, or grill dishes, with a strong understanding of Italian cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high food quality and consistency.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
