Job Summary

The E-commerce Operations Director will oversee and manage all aspects of our online business, ensuring business goals and revenue targets are achieved. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in e-commerce, supply chain management, and strategic planning. We need someone who can manage the business and drive the restructuring of our operations to support growth and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of day-to-day marketplace operations, ensuring product listings, pricing, and inventory are optimized across Amazon, The Range, Wayfair, B&Q, and other platforms.
  • Development and implementation of strategies to enhance product visibility, rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Monitoring and analysis of platform performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating team efforts to optimize results.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across platforms and coordination with design and content teams to improve product presentation and user experience.
Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Development and implementation of business strategies to drive online sales growth and market expansion.
  • Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth across various functions, including marketing, sales, operations, and customer service.
Operational Management
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparation of regular reports for senior management.
  • Management of inventory, logistics, and supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Sales and Marketplace Management
  • Oversight and optimization of sales through various online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, and other platforms.
  • Development of strategies to maximize sales and visibility on these marketplaces.
  • Management of relationships with marketplace representatives and handling all aspects of marketplace operations.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Leadership, motivation, and development of a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Identification of training and development needs to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce, retail management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Competitive Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year
