Care Home Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Wheldale Heights, a care service for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on their unit. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference every day and progress your career in healthcare leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants to provide high-quality patient care
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans and risk assessments
  • Overseeing medication management and administration
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any incidents or concerns

Salary: £23.28 per hour

Requirements:

  • A first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
