Distribution Business Analyst

Incite Insight is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Business Central Warehouse and Distribution Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for driving system improvements, streamlining supply chain processes, and providing critical insights to optimize both warehouse operations and transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Business Central's Warehouse Management (WMS) and integration into existing Transportation Management systems.
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Business Central's financial and inventory management modules and identify key dependencies with supply chain processes.
- Configure Business Central to support business requirements related to inventory management, order processing, shipping, and transportation scheduling.
- Develop and manage reports and dashboards for KPIs such as inventory accuracy, delivery timelines, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and optimize Business Central workflows to improve warehouse and transportation efficiency.
- Document system configurations, business processes, and workflows to ensure smooth system operations and support testing teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 3 years in warehouse management or distribution ERP implementations.
- 3+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system, focusing on warehouse and distribution and have experience in implementing and configuring Business Central for supply chain or logistics environments.
- Experience with third-party integrations such as warehouse management systems (WMS), transport management systems (TMS), or HHTs.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, especially warehouse and transportation functionalities.
- Experience of integrating Transport routing systems such as Paragon with MS BC.
- Experience with EDI integrations and third-party logistics (3PL) systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Fluent English speakers only for this role.
- Good knowledge of MS Business Central Warehousing and Distribution.
- 5+ years of project management experience in finance and ERP implementations as well as 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, focusing on the finance module.
