We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects and professional services from inception to completion, liaising with team members and clients as necessary.
You will have autonomy to develop business and deliver services in a variety of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, residential block management, and defence. Your role will involve managing similar works undertaken by junior colleagues to ensure quality and timeliness of service provided to clients and acting as the point of contact.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload and reporting to the team lead and office Partner on financial forecasting and progress of commissions. You will continually improve your profitability by managing time and resources allocated to projects and ensuring that time spent on projects is recorded and that fee invoicing is carried out at appropriate stages.
You will attend site for meetings to understand and clearly define clients' expectations to provide advice, keep them informed of progress, and make them aware of technical and financial implications. You will prepare and contribute toward fee bids relevant to building surveying and multi-disciplinary projects.
Senior Building Surveyor Position Requirements- Degree/Masters in Building Surveying
- 2 years PQE experience ideally
- MRICS or MAPM qualified
- Varied project and sector experience
- Project Management experience
We offer a competitive salary of £50k - £60k (Guide only - DOE), hybrid working, 28 days + Bank Holidays, a competitive company pension scheme, training and development, professional membership support, on-site parking, death in service benefit, early finish incentives when the Practice targets are hit, and additional leave allocated for volunteering (up to 2 days). We also offer health & mental wellness programs.
