About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Hinkley Point C team in Bridgwater, Somerset. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering, Reinforced Concrete, and Steel Structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resources (people, finance, and physical assets) to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, while maximizing customer satisfaction and gross profit.
  • Financially monitor and control contracts, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance with Kier's Operating Framework, Project Lifecycle Management, and IMS.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and ensure project programming in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver projects.
  • Ensure the production of as-built and impacted P6 programmes, with a commercial plan and end-of-life forecast in place and monitored monthly for successful commercial delivery.
  • Oversee the production of progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, APM, or equivalent.
  • Significant experience on projects of significant value from pre-construction to delivery.

This role requires a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance / Counter Terrorism Check (CTC), which will be conducted by the Cabinet Office's United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) agency. Applicants with criminal convictions will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
