About the Role

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is proud to support a leading food retailer in appointing a Strategic Network Planning Team Lead. This key position plays a crucial role in enhancing customer offerings while maintaining operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing a continuous review process of store capacities and slot offerings, ensuring the transport network remains efficient while driving sales opportunities.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Implement and manage a continuous review process to optimize store capacities and slot offerings.
  • Reduce zoned postcode offering through new processes or tools.
  • Improve robustness within the delivered sales service.
  • Conduct data-driven store profile reviews.
  • Manage key databases and tools used by the online planning team.
  • Test and align new systems with existing processes.
  • Collaborate across Ecommerce, digital operations, and retail to implement changes successfully.
  • Plan and monitor growth for future capacity planning.

An estimated salary for this role is approximately £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience. Experience required:

  • Experienced in logistical operations problem-solving and planning.
  • Knowledge of online industry best practices for logistics operations.
  • Team management skills.
  • A strategic mindset to develop cost-reducing and commercially improving practices.
