Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the University of Southampton. As a member of our research group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of an innovative class of 3D climate models.

The successful candidate will work on implementing novel climate physics in the OASIS model, focusing on moist physics, cloud formation, and convection. A strong background in planetary sciences, including the atmospheres of Earth, Solar System planets, or exoplanets, is essential for this role.

This position includes allocated funding for professional travel, enabling you to engage in international collaborations and research visits at institutions such as UCL and Caltech. You will have the chance to conduct independent research and enhance the group's expertise during the 3-year appointment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000-£50,000. The start date is flexible but expected to be in the fall of 2025.
