Community Rehabilitation Therapist Needed

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Community Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at JustOT in Greater Manchester.

This role involves providing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of occupational therapy services to patients in the community, ensuring seamless collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient-centered goals.

About the Job:

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Create tailored treatment plans that foster independence and functional capacity.
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with patients' families and caregivers to provide education and guidance on their loved ones' rehabilitation and ongoing care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, embracing the latest best practices and research in occupational therapy to refine your expertise.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent certification.
  • Active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a qualified occupational therapist in community settings.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation: £20-£23 per hour
