About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at St. Bridget's, a vibrant and supportive environment for 38 physically disabled adults in Rustington, West Sussex.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping customers achieve their individual aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with customers and their families.
  • Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
