Renal Care Support Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Renal Care Support Specialist, supporting Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality care to haemodialysis patients.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients undergoing regular haemodialysis treatment are met. They will receive training and support from experienced staff to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.
About Our Dialysis UnitOxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider, operating four hospitals: the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, and Horton General Hospital. Our dialysis unit boasts a highly motivated team committed to delivering exceptional service, developing individual potential, and continuing education.
We have strong links with Oxford Kidney Unit, Oxford Brookes University, and Northampton University, enabling educational and professional development opportunities for staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses in delivering planned healthcare within the dialysis unit under direct supervision.
- Support patients receiving haemodialysis treatment, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Follow a structured training programme under the guidance of a mentor to demonstrate competence.
Our salary range for this position is £20,000-£25,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
