The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning factory manufacturing activities across various departments, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, vendor management, and quality control.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning manufacturing orders and ensuring internal timetables, strategic inventory plans, and customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Establishing work priorities and work directions for the factory team to meet customer demands and achieve product flow.
  • Tracking factory schedule performance and assisting with important metric gathering that drives productivity and enhancement projects.
  • Coordinating and communicating with customer service to ensure shop priorities are in line with customer needs.
  • Negotiating purchase order supplier quotes to achieve purchasing productivity and supplier cost management.
  • Managing inventory to ensure strategic inventory design targets are on plan.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing planning and procurement, inventory planning and management, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills, are also essential for this role.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
