Postdoctoral Researcher in Cell Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the John Innes Centre, working on cutting-edge science in the field of Cell & Developmental Biology.

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will study the biochemistry of meiotic recombination proteins in Arabidopsis, addressing key questions relating to meiotic crossover formation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study the biochemistry of meiotic recombination proteins in Arabidopsis
  • Investigate the underlying biophysics behind recombination protein coarsening dynamics
  • Contribute to cutting-edge science in the field of Cell & Developmental Biology

Requirements:

  • PhD in molecular biology or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to perform protein biochemistry
  • Experience in biochemistry in plant systems is desirable but not essential
