Classroom Assistant (ASD) Role

Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant (ASD) to join our team in Enfield. As a Classroom Assistant (ASD), you will provide academic and behavioral support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a SEND secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with ASD, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students with ASD receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and reduce challenging behavior in students with ASD.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and parents to ensure that students with ASD receive a comprehensive and coordinated support package.
Requirements:
  • 2:1 or higher from a top UK university.
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
