About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Croydon.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse RGN, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist to utilize their clinical expertise in a medico-legal setting, assessing benefits on behalf of the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess up to four customers per day, creating a written report for the DWP to inform their decision-making process.
  • Evaluate benefits such as Personal Independent Payments or Employment and Support Allowance.

Training and Development:

  • Industry-leading training provided by our clinical tutors, equipping you with the necessary skills to support customers and transition your medical expertise into this role.
  • A comprehensive 6-month training program, during which you will be paid and maintain your registration with the RGN or HCPC.
  • Ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including over 100 hours of CPD protected per annum, support with revalidation, and opportunities to develop your career within the organisation.
  • The possibility to study for the Diploma in Disability Assessment Medicine, accredited by the FOM.

Your Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in patient-facing roles, dealing with a wide range of clinical conditions.
  • Excellent computer or IT skills, typing or keyboard skills at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
  • Highly literate, detail-oriented, and adaptable communication skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
