About the Job

As a Senior Practitioner at the London Borough of Croydon, you will have the opportunity to lead practice and develop staff expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, delivering high-quality services and supporting staff to achieve excellent outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze data, and create evidence-based plans to address complex needs.
  • Provide expert guidance, training, and supervision to enhance staff skills and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified Social Worker registration with Social Work England.
  • Foundation level systemic practice qualification (desirable).
  • Practice Educator or Practice Teacher qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of national policy, legislation, and developments in children's social care.
  • Familiarity with relevant theoretical frameworks, practice models, and research findings.
