Job Title: Biomedical Scientist - Immunology Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our Immunology Research team at Synnovis Group LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research in immunology and psychiatry, with a focus on developing diagnostic assays and translating research methods into clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in immunology and psychiatry, with a focus on developing diagnostic assays
  • Translate research methods into clinical practice
  • Work across Immunology and Psychiatry departments
  • Manage research samples and associated test data
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with Dr Dongmin Shao and Dr Mohammad Ibrahim in Clinical Immunology
  • Contribute to the formulation and submission of research reports, publications, and research proposals
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or Equivalent
  • Registration with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
  • PhD in Immunology if not HCPC registered
  • Minimum of 1 year post HCPC registration or at least 4 years (recent) laboratory experience in diagnostics or research
