At Northampton Business Directory, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Lead Workshop Technician - Materials Handling. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This full-time position involves working within our busy workshop environment, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. As a Lead Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), servicing, and repairing a range of forklift trucks.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on plant, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural equipment, or similar machinery. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues and external partners. Additionally, proficiency in IT is necessary, and holding a level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline is desirable.
