Electrical Engineer - Senior

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at WSP, you will play a key role in leading and developing cost-effective, efficient, and innovative solutions to complex electrical problems. You will work closely with the project team to deliver projects across various stages of maturity, from feasibility studies to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver electrical deliverables, including single line diagrams, cable calculations, and switchgear configurations.
  • Work with owners, operators, and investors to assess the condition of electrical assets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement cost-effective and efficient solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.
  • Significant post-graduate experience in electrical design and operation, maintenance, and testing.
  • Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents and design concepts.
  • Knowledge of design, construction, and operation of power and energy projects.
