Pharmacy Medicines Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the pharmacy medicines management service, providing safe, timely, and high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work across Clinical Services, liaising closely with pharmacy and other staff. They will have line management responsibilities for Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians and participate in research and audit, rota management, and the strategic development of the service.
Requirements- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services with underpinning knowledge provided by the BTEC Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Accreditation in Medicines Management (AIMM) or HEE Medicines Optimisation Programme (MOP) qualification
- Significant experience relevant to Hospital Pharmacy Practice with assessed competencies
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the pharmacy as a whole, specifically the ward-based service, and be able to advance practice within the Hepatology team and service.
